OUR STORY
I’m Clare. I’m passionate about plants and the way they make you feel. Nothing gives me greater fulfilment than connecting my clients with their garden and seeing them happier and healthier in their new outdoor living space. I’ve been designing and building unique gardens for 13 years, and my portfolio includes projects of all sizes. My experience includes tending to my own acreage, an edible garden, and a brood of chickens. This has given me invaluable knowledge, which I use when helping you renovate a tired and forgotten garden, a balcony space or transforming the blank canvas of your new-build block.
OUR ETHOS
Functional landscape design works best when it is in harmony with the land, which is why I aim to use sustainability and water-smart elements in my designs. Where possible, I incorporate edible gardening – herbs, fruit trees and vegetable patches and sustainable features such as composting and reducing energy through creating much-needed shade. My extensive knowledge of botanicals means I only select plants that thrive in your local climate and soil. So you’ll end up with a garden that matures and improves from season to season.
ABOUT ME
I hold a Diploma in Horticulture and am an active member of the Australian Institute of Landscape Design. My creative talents and horticultural skills have received national recognition. I am often asked to give talks and run workshops, and one of my gardens has been featured in Gardening Australia. But more important to me are the wonderful clients I’ve been fortunate enough to work with, helping them extend their home into their garden and creating something unique that gives them year-round joy.
