Clare James

Clare has been crafting unique gardens for 15 years, bringing her expertise to projects of all sizes. Her hands-on experience includes managing her own acreage, tending an edible garden, and caring for chickens, all of which enrich her professional ability.

With a Diploma in Horticulture and active membership in the Australian Institute of Landscape Design, Clare’s work has gained national recognition, including in an episode on Gardening Australia and multiple magazine features. In 2025 Clare won a Bronze award for landscape design and a silver award for garden design from the Landscape Design Institute (LDI) for the Craigerne project in Red Hill, Brisbane.

She focuses on sustainability and water-smart design, incorporating edible plants and eco-friendly practices to create gardens that not only enhance your home but also thrive and evolve through the seasons. Her extensive plant knowledge means that the plants included in your design will be perfectly suited to our climate and soils.
